I wonder if anyone on here knows about enabling SNA, or, indeed, if it is necessary at all?
I ask because I have been running Linux in vbox only for a while since getting my desktop pc back around September 2011, which has a SandyBridge cpu (i5 2500K with Intel HD3000 graphics). At the time there were major problems/no Linux support for this new cpu/gpu fusion architecture, so I have been waiting patiently reading Phoronix articles etc. and it seems that the latest Kernels & graphics stacks support sandybridge quite well.
I understand that SNA is to be enabled by default in future versions of Ubuntu, but would like to know for now, if this is something to manually enable or whatever?
Any replies very much appreciated.
ps, I deliberately have no dedicated gpu, just the integrated (which works perfectly for 1080p video etc. no gaming required)
