Problem with touchpad Toshiba P870 driver/hardware issue?

Hi , having big problems with the touchpad on my Toshiba P870-306 ,and Linux Mint 14.
The TP does not work as suposed . When i tab the pad the cursor moves a little bit,it should be still. The TP works as it shall under windows 7.
Its very difficult to do correct tabbing/clicking as the curso is jumping around.
When i mark a text and right click to cut/copy the greymark disappears as i have done a leftclick, so i cant do mark and cut/copy .Rightclick works some time but mostly not.
I have tried a lot of other Linux dist but same problem.
I have google a lot for this but no other with same problem
The touhpad is an Synaptics and cant find other drivers for this unit.
The pad has "integrated" left and right buttoms.
When i use a separate USB mouse this one works as it shall.

I have 2 other laptops where the touchpad works perfekt with Mint (ASUS and Fujitsu) , no jumping cursor when tabbing.
