I am currently running Mint 14 KDE on a Toshiba Satellite P855-S5200. There is no audio and I have tried Googling and running most solutions and it has not worked. Can anyone give me some guidance on how to fix this/ some things to help debug this.

I found that this issue is a codec issue and I have moved it to the sound/codecs forum viewtopic.php?f=48&t=128524&p=698823#p698823 Thank You.
