problems with iSight on my mac

Postby tantric on Sat Mar 16, 2013 3:13 pm

I know Linux Mint is the system of choice for macs, so I thought this forum might be able to help me, even though I'm running Ubuntu.

I tried to get iSight to work following the instruction found here:
The problem is, when the little GUI screen popped up asking for the location of the AppleUSBVideoSupport file, I messed it up, giving it the wrong location. Now, even if I apt-get remove isight-firmware-tools, I can't get the GUI screen to come back up. Any suggestions?

Thanks, karma to all.

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.
