I know Linux Mint is the system of choice for macs, so I thought this forum might be able to help me, even though I'm running Ubuntu.
I tried to get iSight to work following the instruction found here: http://www.howtoeverything.net/linux/hardware/making-isight-work-ubuntu-linux-mint-and-skype
The problem is, when the little GUI screen popped up asking for the location of the AppleUSBVideoSupport file, I messed it up, giving it the wrong location. Now, even if I apt-get remove isight-firmware-tools, I can't get the GUI screen to come back up. Any suggestions?
Thanks, karma to all.
