I looked, and cannot find anything regarding mounting a Mac-made data DVD.
I have a Sony VGN-NR220E, DVD drive is an Optiarc DVD RW AD-7560A.
I tried using hfsutils, hfsplus, etc, no avail. These DVD's hold PDF's, photos, doc files, some movies.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. By the way, Noob, but using Mint for two years now.

Are you sure the DVD is using a Mac filesystem like HFS/HFS+ and not just an ISO 9660 or UDF filesystem like normal DVDs do?
Probably you can mount it with:
Please post the output of that terminal command if it fails to mount that way.
Probably you can mount it with:
Code: Select all
udisks --mount /dev/sr0

It seems you might have mistyped --mount (I see a strange kind of dash sign in your output).

Re: Cannot mount a Mac made data DVD, 14/Cinnimon
Are you positive that you "closed" the DVD when you burned it? IOW, that it's not "multi-session" and still open? I've read that, if that is the case, it is common for other drives to be unable to read it (although some can).
Also, please double-check to make sure that the DVD can still be read on a Mac (the one you burned it with, preferably).

MDM
