hello,
i have a motorola v3 razor and have been trying to install and use motorola phone tools. i was wondering if anyone has been successful in doing this or if mint has a comparable software counterpart that i could use to link my phone and pc together as well as send text messages with it over my phone from my laptop.
as always any help is appreciated.

If you have the Motorola V3r like me, you are screwed. I have not been able to get the phone tools to run with wine. If USB support gets added to wine, then it might work. There is an app in the repos called moto4lin that is supposed to work similar to the phone tools, but not as flashy. It seems the V3r model is locked, and moto4lin won't work either. I have to use XP/phone tools on my daughter's PC
