I am a newbie in Linux.I just Installed Mint 5.My problem is i cannot connect My Sony Ericsson W810i Usb Modem.

I have a W700i and I have a strong feeling it only works as a modem under Win
I can get the photos off it easily (don't use the mp3 in it) it just appears as a USB "disk"
I think you should google w810i + linux or + ubuntu or +mint
Unfortunately you get lots of hits for skins and the like ....
