Mouse button performs two actions, how can I change this?

Postby trmiv on Mon Jun 16, 2008 1:02 am

I hope this is the right place for this. I've got my Logitech MX620 working for the most part, but I can't get the behavior I want from the Zoom button. By default it opens the Tracker Search Tool. After installing BTNX, I mapped the button to F5 (refresh). This worked fine, but the problem is not only does it perform the F5, it also still pops up the Tracker Search Tool. I can't figure out how to get it to stop performing that action, where is this set? This is in Mint 5, BTW.

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Don't fix it if it ain't broken, don't break it if you can't fix it

I actually figured it out. In the keyboard shortcuts thing in the control center I just took out what was entered for "search" and it now just performs the action set by BTNX
