Kodac cx4200 Camera

Postby yendor on Sat Jun 28, 2008 5:41 pm

My Kodak cx4200 won't work with Elyssa, I have installed gthumb & I can manually import photos from gthumb but it wont do it automatically as it did with older versions of Mint.
Thanks

Gthumb is mainly a picture viewer. You need to install F-Spot or Digikam. They will detect and import photos when the camera is plugged in.

Linux Mint Elyssa

Yes, thanks! I was wondering where the photo application was. I decided to go with f-spot and it worked great for my Canon camera. The only thing was that it had an error that said, couldn't find /home/me/photos folder to copy to. So in my home folder I renamed the default image folder 'Pictures' to 'Photos'. Tried again, and it copied to the folder just fine. I haven't used f-spot in a year. I like it!
