The Canon pixma ip1700 isn't listed in Mint5. Can I use any of the listed models? Or any other work around?

Also do a search on the forum, canon printers have been brought up numerous times. They work with mint, you just need to do a little driver instalation.

Thanks Husse and Carlos. I did search a lot of "Canon" posts before asking. I just found an HP that is on the list for only $40 shipped. I was weak. Thanks for trying to help the dummy....Sloto
