Is this external modem supported by Mint 4.0?

I'm thinking of buying this if it's supported, but can anyone tell me if it is?

External modems are generally true hardware modems which should work with Linux without to much trouble. Seeing as this has a serial connection it probably is but some external usb modems can be winmodems which should be avoided. A similar model works ok in Ubuntu so you'll probably be ok.
