I'm really getting excited about the new chips heading towards us quickly.

I was wondering, will the current Linux kernel be able to fully exploit the advancements found in the the Nehalems, or will it need to be optimized?

I doubt the current will handle everything if it is so "groundbreaking" as is claimed
But I'm pretty convinced that -20 will (in Felicia probably)

That'll be fine with me, I wasn't planning on buying into the first iteration of Nehalem anyways, but by this time next year there should be some pretty sweet boxen in the channel...

OK - you seem to follow the advice I always give
Never buy the newest CPU, go for one or two versions back and you get much more bang for your bucks

Oh yeah, that's always the way to go.

But I'm really excited anyways, these things should totally kick ass!
