Bluetooth Headphones and Linux Mint 5

I have managed to get everything to work in Linux Mint but bluetooth headphones.

I am able to get them to work without issue in Ubuntu but when i go through the EXACT same process on linux mint I don't get any results.

Any suggestions on getting a2dp to work?

This is the guide I used to get it to work in Ubuntu

The script works as expected in linux mint(no errors) but sound never comes through the headphones.
