Missing interface

I stupidly somehow lost my wireless interface and the ndiswrapper doesn,t work. On the live cd i saw it was using the hostap drivers how do i get those drivers back working please.

And that is?
If it's the Network manager applet just right click the panel > Add to panel and you should be good to go

Thanks for the reply, no its the NIC information when you choose manual configuration. In this case it used to be wlan0 now I only have the eth0 which is the ethernet NIC. I had a problem a week ago and tried to use the Ndiswrapper which didn't solve my problem so i removed it, now i don't know how to re-install the original Hostap driver.

hmm - I am far from sure about what you've done but you could start by reinstalling network manager
