Hardware support for tablet pc?

I'm planning on buying an hp tx2500z. It comes with Vista, so I'm going to dual-boot with Mint for everything that isn't OneNote. Will the touch screen, webcam, and fingerprint reader work? I know there can be problems with all of these in Linux. Would another distro be better/worse? Any recommendations for other tablets?
