So a few weeks ago I installed Mint 17 KDE, and when I unplugged the charger from
my laptop, the screen brightness automatically adjusted to 50% brightness.
I came to find I prefer Cinnamon above KDE, but found that in Mint 17 Cinnamon, in
the same situation, the screen brightness isn't automatically adjusted and I was wondering
if that's deliberate or not. I know I can use my FN keys to adjust it manually, but that
get old quickly.
Is there something I can do in Cinnamon to have the brightness adjust automatically, like
it does in KDE?
I have no options for screen brightness when on battery in my Power Management settings.
Brightness auto adjust like KDE in Cinnamon ?
