Bluetooth keyboard and mouse problem.

I have posted this bug on the felicia thread but need ideas for a fix.

I have the logitech MX5500 keyboard & mouse but it will not work in mint. In elysia it works if i unplug the usb and plug in again. In Felicia this makes no difference. I have also had this issue when attempting to install intrepid even with wubi.

As I don't have any spare keyboards or mice this is stopping me from upgrading to mint 6.

As well as this the live CD only reaches the auto login screen once in every 3 or 4 attempts. I am hoping this is to do with the bluetooth and nothing sinister.

I will try starting in compatability mode when I get home but i am just really annoyed that this could be the end of my mint journey.

BTWmy system works fine when testing mandrive 2009. Not sure which kernel is involved but since the mint releases are usually far superior to mandriva I am hopeful that this can be fixed by the mint team. :!:

Ok, I am now typing from within the live CD (Felicia) which is great btw, having successfully booted once i removed my old (redundant) PCI wireless card (Dlink). I think that there was an issue as I had my usb card plugged in too but removing this made no difference so it is either a pci problem or the dell card is not compatable)

My bluetooth problem remains but i only have to remove and replace the usb stick once per reboot. I have found a link to this bug on the ubuntu pages:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour ... bug/291269

Please guys, find a fix, even if you have to copy it from another distro i dont care!!! Honest!
