I guess that you ment for me to run lspci (or possibly lsusb) and post the result in the terminal window

This is (I think the information you asked for found them by running hardware test since I faild to run the command you asked for.

Since I posted my request for help I actually turned on my wired connection my self running my eeepc on Mint 6 “Felicia” RC1 from my usb stick. It worked well in till I did the installation
So now I'm running on ubuntu 8.04.1.again. I guess I will have to do some more preparations before I do my next attempt in installing Mint
