hi, ive been all over the ubuntu forums, trying to get my tablet to work.
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions ... page2.html
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=146279&page=7
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=763380&page=4
and many more.

there have been many people saying that they have got it working, but they are on other distros

here are my current configs (ontop of a new, updated Elyssa install):
/etc/X11/xorg.conf
Code: Select all

Code: Select all
# i edited out all the extraneous comments

/dev/ttyS0 autoconfig

/dev/ttyS0 uart 16450 port 0x06a8 irq 4 baud_base 38400

here are my driver files http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=1704070&postcount=26

if i "dmesg | grep tty"
Code: Select all
[   12.177064] console [tty0] enabled
[   13.642075]   hash matches device tty54

and "dmesg | grep ttyS" returns nothing, which doesnt make sense. i think that the drivers are made for 32bit and not 64 ... i thought that didnt matter with linux anymore?
