AT&T 3g cell phone card

Postby Fred on Fri Jan 02, 2009 11:24 am

Does anyone know if the AT&T 3g cards will work, or can be made to work with Mint or any of the Debian based distros?

EDIT: The card is a "Laptop Connect Card - Serra Wireless - Aircard 881"

What about using a cell phone through a usb cable for a network connection? Anybody tried that with any success?

Any help or comments would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Fred

Husse,

Yes, very good and quite enlightening as you said. Thanks.

And scorp, if you happen to see this, Thanks. I believe I can work with this. :-)
