Mint is up and running fine on my Dell Dimension 4700 Motherboard, everything was fine, even the network drivers, except for the sound drivers.
I can't find the linux drivers for the integrated sound on the mother board at all.
When i go into the sound preferences and select autodetect from the dropdown menu, and press test i receive the following error:
