Hello,

As I can't resist a bargin I ignored AK Dave and 900i's advice to buy HP and bought an Epson SX100 and am now suffering the consiquences.

I can't get it to print. I've checked the correct driver is there and it is recognised as a usb printer. When I come to print it makes all the right noises and the print head moves and then nothing.

Also where do I start to get the scanner working. Is Husse's post 'If your scanner won't work' relevant or is that specific to Brother scanners.

Help.

Hi
You will find drivers for your sx100 here
http://avasys.jp/hp/page000001300/hpg000001251.htm

I used the NX200 for my sx200 and they work fine

Image Scan! For Linux Ver 2.15.0 is avaliable in deb form.

Download here http://www.avasys.jp/lx-bin2/linux_e/spc/DL1.do
"Epson Stylus NX100/SX100/TX100/TX101/TX105/TX106,Epson ME 300"

You night have to install libsane and libsane extras
