Hi,
Below ie the printout from lspci.
I can hear audio from a DVD but onle see a green screen. I have tried the various decoders from the drop down list and changed the region to "2"
Should my system allow me to view DVDs or do I need a graphics card. If I do need one, can someone tell give me required specs to point me in the right direction.
Thanks

Re: Do I need a graphics card?
I was just wondering,
After you installed mint and used command's like lspci. How is it possible to ask the question, if u need a graphics card?
Anyway, the answer is: you already have a graphic card, one from intel, so it says in the lspci output.
Probally a driver issue, try adjusting some output settings in mplayer first to see what happens.
