Microsoft webcam VX-3000 no video

Postby wraak on Sat Mar 21, 2009 3:17 am

First post here. I am a long time Mint user. Best Linux flavour in town. I installed Mint 6 main edition for my friend who ran into virus after virus with the other well known OS.

I have everything working except the Microsoft webcam VX-3000 on SKYPE 2.072. I do managed to get sound and can see people that are connected to me but people cannot see me. In skype video settings I see : "no video hardware".

Are there any video drivers floating around for this cam?

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.
