mouse pointer

Postby mint000019 on Wed Apr 08, 2009 12:59 am

alright, im running a usb mint live persistent feature; no complaints. my issue is whenever i boot up, i have to run the nvidia-xconfig to reapply my drive, which isnt all that bad, except after running, then cntrl-alt-shift to apply; i am taken to the login screenw whereupon my mouse pointer is invisible. also, trying to add the HWcursor "Off" option into the xorg.conf file only makes the mouse cursor flickery, buggy, and altogether as annoying as a invisible pointer. what do i have to add to the xorg.conf file to make this work?

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Well this is the live CD on a USB stick, so I doubt you can add anything to xorg.conf as Mint is unpacked at every boot and thus xorg.conf is created at every boot unless I miss something
