Keyboard freezes

I have a Hp Pavilion ze5700 laptop. In Bianca, the keyboard will sometimes freeze up. The mouse works fine, but I still have to hard boot to gain the keyboard back. I didn't have this problem in Bea and I was wondering if there was anyway to fix it.

are you using the original kernel for Bianca or the new one?

the new one (2.2.17.11) seemed to break a lot of stuff for some people. I have found no problems with it though.

If you are using a PS2 keyboard, try going into bios, and if there, "disable usb keyboard" also "disable usb legacy devices"
I had trouble with Edgy and Mint and Etch with PS2 keyboard, if a usb drive was connected the PS2 keyboard failed to funtion at all until I changed the bios as above.
