[solved]Getting my linksys WMP54g card to work with Gloria?

Postby Ansem on Fri May 29, 2009 1:10 pm

First I'd like to say that this distribution is the best one created to this date, without a doubt. Second; I'd like to get online through my Linux Mint machine :)

Is there anyone out there who can tell me how to get Gloria to recognize the fact that I've got my Linksys card installed. It's the WMP54g one. I'm very thankful for all replies.

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Nevermind, I got it working and am now typing this using the Linux Mint machine :)

Sorry for bothering, although I've been keeping an eye out for Linux distributions this is the first one I've actually tried, so I'm a bit new with all this. I got it working using ndiswrapper and following the guide in your wiki. Thanks to whoever wrote that thing, it was very easy to follow. Made me feel really proud to be able to configure it "all by myself".

Thanks for a wonderful OS!

Yes, there are a lot of great people here. And there is nothing like the feeling of accomplishment.
One thing that I will ask, is please add "SOLVED" to the subject line of your original post. That way, when others search, they can read of how you succeeded.

Welcome, and don't be a stranger . . .
regards, Richard
