You are not forgotten - but I simply don't know enough about Bluetooth to find a solution easily - I have to add this to my list and come back
I think the way Bluetooth is handled has changed since that link was written
Edit - I don't know enough about Bluetooth......

Ok I have searched a bit
Bluetooth changed drastically between Elyssa and Felicia (Hardy and Intrepid) so solutions for Hardy and older are less likely to work

I found in another post that blueman can be the solution

Had a similar problem with a Microsoft Bluetooth mouse. This worked for me:
