Cobra DC2500 Webcam functionality

Postby apermath on Sat Jul 11, 2009 11:52 am

I have a Cobra DC2500 digital camera that has a Web Cam function. I can access the images and videos taken (linux reads the 2.0g SDcard as a hard disk) with no problem. However, when i switch to webcam, i get no result. Consulted keywords for Synaptic and looked for info on Cobra site, both failed. Thanks again, everyone.

Open a terminal, type "tail -f /var/log/mesasges". Now connect the camera in webcam mode to ther computer. Show us the output from the log messages.

Also, after connecting the camera in webcam mode type "lsusb" and "lspci" in a terminal and show us the output. That info at least might give us some info to go on...
