Android Debug Bridge help, Gloria (what is the udev)

Postby evrgreen on Sun Jul 19, 2009 12:34 pm

What is the proper udev rules file for gloria to get the adb command working with a usb device...

I've tried various versions of
Code: Select all
SUBSYSTEM=="usb", ATTR{idVendor}=="0bb4", MODE="0666"
to no avail.
I've retried with ATTR as SYSFS, usb as usb_device and a couple other lame attempts at convince the computer what it is.

Something for Android?
And in which file have you placed the line you supply
Permissions and USB for scanners are dealt with here
I think you can get some ideas there

Don't fix it if it ain't broken, don't break it if you can't fix it
