D-Link Wireless Router question

Postby rivers79 on Mon Jul 20, 2009 9:26 pm

I have a dual boot of Windows and Linux Mint 6, Mint 6 being my main OS.

I have recently got a D-Link wireless router and it cam with an install disk for Windows. My question is, is if I install the Windows drivers on the Windows partition of the hard drive, will I still transmit when I am in Mint?

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

You do not need the disk. It contains Windows wireless client noob utilities.

Just follow the small Installer's Guide that was included, you can perform ALL setup/security options through your Web browser. (
Make sure you connect through your "Wired" connection to do the Setup.
