Lenovo Y430 Webcam + Card Reader

Hello there,

Been using a mint for a little bit and I love it. I have been distro testing and so far am pleased with Mint. Except for these.


My webcam and card reader are not working.

The webcam is called "Lenovo EasyCamera" and is identified in Skype and Cheese but I get no signal out of it. The card reader just does nothing when a card is inserted. I assume you will want my lsusb output...

assuming since there is no webcam or reader listed, I guess that's trouble. Weird part is, the webcam worked under Fedora. I am hoping for any ideas. I'll be checking back regularly.

P.S. If you have any idea on how to make me internal subwoofer to shut off when I plug in the headphones, I'd kiss your feet.

Never mind, I got it too work.

Made a tutorial on how to fix it.
