Sony VAIO W Netbook?

I don't have specific suggestions, except to note..

Acer eepc was the first one, it did have Ubuntu Linux support
Dell had a better keyboard
HP cost the most

The rest (other manufacturers) followed up on the common features
--I think the important part is the keyboard size, as netbooks at the smaller sizes (original 8.9") used way too small a keyboard and try to crowd in too many separate keys, including F keys (function)
--most of the screens are similar enough
