USB Drive?

Postby av1611 on Mon Oct 19, 2009 4:11 pm

When I plug a USB Thumbdrive into my system, then open "Computer" from gnome desktop (using Mint7 - Gnome) I get a new icon called USB Drive. When I click that icon, the popup says "Unable to mount location Can't Mount File".

Um... huh?

I have another one, and it works fine.

It works fine in windows, I also works fine on my other linux boxes with the same distro...

Any clue???

Thanks.

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

ROFL

N/M

I fixed it.

Let me tell ya'll what happens just in case anyone else is a dumb as me :P

I have a line in my fstab to mount an iscsi drive (/dev/sdh1). I start iscsi manually as needed. The USB drive is grabbing /dev/sdh1 because I don't use the iscsi very often... when i put the other drive in it comes up /dev/sdi1 so it works... blah...

I guess I need to figure out how to make the iscsi persistant on boot...
