My older Gateway laptop has a Pentium 4m processor that runs at 1.8 ghz. Under Linux Mint Gloria it only throttles down to 1.2 ghz and these two are the only options shown on the cpu freq applet. Under other Linux versions (like Puppy), it throttles down all the way to .29 mhz and there are 4 speed options available.
Would anyone have any ideas to fix this under Gloria?

Re: limited cpu freqencies on Pentium 4m
The Pentium 4 M is supported so it should be possible to get things going as you want
Take a look at this page for a list of daemons you can use (some needs to be installed - just do apt install the_name_of_ the_app)
