Removeing pulse audio and Volume Control Applet?

Postby angelbeast on Thu Dec 03, 2009 5:11 am

Hi everyone. Like many i'm looking for a good solution for removing pulseaudio and i found this tutorial that seems to work fine

http://n2.nabble.com/Re-Ubuntu-s-switch ... l#a3886061

It took away pulse audio and put back the volume button on torem but still no volume control applet...Does anyone know how to get it back or is there a script for a new one?

It's sad that the situation with pulse is as it is
There is a volume applet in "Add to panel" which I believe is the original one

Don't fix it if it ain't broken, don't break it if you can't fix it
