PCI USB card

Postby 8andsand on Wed Jan 06, 2010 5:04 pm

Hello I recently put Linux MInt 8 on my wifes computer. She has an Ultra USB PCI card installed on her computer that wont work. If you plug something in it will light up but it doesn't connect to the computer. Any help would be appreciated.....Thanks

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

In a terminal give us the output from "lspci", this will give a list of seen pci devices. (No quotes)

I finally found the disk that came with the card. If you browse the disk there is a folder titled Linux. In that folder are 2 things. A folder titled ehci1 another folder titled ohci. Im guessing these have something to do with the driver for the card but I have no idea how to use them.
