Asus C90

Postby tanlaan on Thu Jul 19, 2007 1:31 am

There is a new laptop coming out, that is supposed to be the first upgradeable laptop ever. I'm just asking if everything that it has is supported or can/will be. This includes wireless, bluetooth, the different graphics cards, etc.

Just wondering because this is an awesome idea for a laptop. :D

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Welcome to Mint tanlaan
It is an awesome idea, but the answer to your question is partly in the awesome.
As we would not know whats in it in it's different shapes we can't be sure if it's fully supported before we see what's in the different configurations that will be produced.
Basically it should be supported

Okay :D. I was just looking into it, because it seems that this being "very" (not sure yet) hackable and user changeable, I thought that it matched linux very well. Hopefully it won't cost all too much. :D

Happy days, and if anyone wants to check out the Asus C90, here are some links.
