I recently installed Mint Linux 8 on a relatives old computer. A Gateway 3018GZ Notebook and all seems to be fine except there is no Sound. It uses a "PC2001 Compliant AC '97 Audio" And Pulse Audio is installed. Any ideas? And before someone complains about this being another No SOund thread and suggests to use search, Know that I already have and 0 hits for both "PC2001 Compliant AC '97 Audio" and " Gateway 3018GZ" so new topic needed.
