ATI Radeon HD 2400 Pro with CRT Problem
Hey guys, I just downloaded Linux Mint 8 and installed over my Ubuntu 9.10 install and must say it is a great OS but I'm having the same problem as Ubuntu with my video driver. They're support couldn't help and I thought it may have been a problem with Xorg 11 but since Mint uses 7.4 and my driver supports 7.4 and it can't be Xorg messing up. Any ideas? How can I uninstall the driver and go back to the open source driver that came pre-installed via Recovery Manager?

"sudo apt-get remove fglrx"
to remove ati proprietary driver.
"sudo apt-get install mesa xserver-xorg-video-radeon"
But you could find it with the forum search or google. It was discussed a lot of times.
