OK. My problem is that I can see my CD/DVD when I have nothing in it but as soon as a disc goes in it it disappears??? I can't do anything with it from then on

Any ideas?

It seemd to me that as I had tried to play my first piece of multimedia and the cd/dvd had disappeared The place I posted was a good place to start.

An honest mistake and certainly one that didn't warrant a snide like the one you gave me.

Then again I've generally found in the past that any deviation from the path followed by the superior beings that know it all always gets a bucket of snide.

In the bin goes mint cos I don't have time or inclination to have to put up with your sort and a system that can't cope with a dvd drive. Shame as it looks nice.
