Hi friends,

I installed mint on my Lenovo 3000 Y500 laptop few weeks back. Every thing is working fine except TV Software XawTV ( I tried couple of other softwares also, but nothing seem to work ). When I launch XawTV, what I see is my own webcam video. The only option I can see in "Video Source" in XawTV is "camera". So I think my built in TV Tuner card is either non supported or not installed properly. I am not sure what type of TV tuner card it is.

I split this from the original topic which was growing too much
No sign of a TV tuner there
Run lsusb as well, it might be USB even if it's internal and if there is some switch to turn the card on/off make sure you run lspci and lsusb with the switch on
