I have a card reader. on ubuntu the light was always on...in LM8 it starts on but then it goes off and i can not mount a card again until i reboot i will try to log out and see if it turns on.
any way to fix this?

only comes back on reboot??? hmm i just noticed that remove drive safely causes it to turn off how do i remount the card reader? i don't understand eject does not turn it off. ???
