Helena and Nokia CS-15

Post by turboscrew »

Has anyone managed to install Nokia CS-15 internet stick to Helena?
After installing Helena, there were a lot of updates (including the kernel).
The .deb-package on the stick was found, but synaptic doesn't seem to like it.
Installation ends in error and leaves synaptic into jammed state:

E: The package nokia-zerocd needs to be reinstalled, but I can't find an archive for it.
E: Internal error opening cache (1). Please report.

Is there some corrected install package?
Does it work, if manually compiled from sources?
Any other ideas how to make it work?
Any idea what's the problem?
Does it work in Gloria?

Aha, in the Nokia support discussion forum, someone wrote:
The Linux package can not be installed, because the post and pre script have a typo. The right syntax is:

udevadm control --reload-rules

Dear Nokia, pls edit the "postinst" and "postrm" files and provide a new package asap. Thank you very much.
Could this be easily corrected? Maybe even added to Mint repository or something?

Could anyone tell me how to fix the .deb-package?

dpkg-deb -x extracts the stuff, but how to re-pack it?
