Mustek 1200 scanexpress ub

Hi All

Im trying to get my mustek scanner working
Now I have goggled it and tried download firmware and placing it in the directory for sane.
Anyway doing some probing I have found that its not listed in my fstab and I have libusb installed

Anyone got any ideas?

Scanners should not be listed in fstab, so it's correct not to find it there. I've seen this scanner listed as not supported by sane but according to this thread it seems possible to use it

Note that some have success and others not

sane-find-scanner -v

should tell you the device id of the scanner, something like

which is the output from someones Mustek 1200
