I have installed Linux Mint as a virtual machine using the Microsoft Virtual PC program in Win 7 professional.
Booting off the live CD the system recognized all hardware and worked properly.
Linux Mint boots fully as a virtual machine and the included software works. However the virtual installation apparently is not recognizing the network card or mobo based sound.
Is there a remedy for this or is it not possible to run Linux Mint under Microsoft Virtual PC?

Re: VIrtual linux mint
Not using ms virtual pc for a long time so can't say about it but have you tried virtual box instead? http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads
Re: VIrtual linux mint
Agreed. Use Virtualbox, your hardware will work just fine. MS Virtual PC does not support hardware as well as VB does.
