I bought an USB Bluetooth adapter but doesn't work, the new kernel version has the drivers for my adapter but I don't want to upgrade all the kernel only for my USB bluetooth, Does anyone know how I can install the drivers????. Is a genereic USB Adapter.
Would you believe that I don't know?, in the box there was nothing, even a trade or model , I probe it with the kernel version in Gutsy, and it worked, I can't give more information, sorry

Four instances of the thing?!
Anyway it is a Broadcom and I have had reports of success with the Linux driver - I don't know if that goes for USB as well
Follow the description for the Linux driver in the wiki

Don't fix it if it ain't broken, don't break it if you can't fix it
Sorry - for a moment I forgot it was a bluetooth adapter when i saw Broadcom - the wifi problem with Broadcom seems more or less solved - the wiki does not help you of course.
But I found this
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BluetoothSetup I also found a blog claiming that you must not plug in the adapter in a USB hub but rather directly into your computer
