No sound, sound card not recognised

Postby omggreg on Sun Jun 27, 2010 3:55 pm

I can't get any sound, it's probably really easy to fix but I don't know how to get my hardware options up, eg. change the sound device. I plugged my hdmi monitor in, and now it seems to always want to select the graphics card as the sound device.

Help?

Go to Mint Menu> Sound And Video> PulseAudio Volume Control> Configuration and select the output you want to use from the card you want to use in the drop down menus.
