SOLVED:All FN keys are inverted in HP mini netbook 210 1002

Dear All,
Prior to install Linux Mint 9 on my HP mini 210 1002 TU type, I run usb live.
Everything is out of the box except all FN keys (F1 to F12) which are inverted.

For example, the default action to access decrease volume, increase volume or mute is without pressing fn key.
But the keyboard layout is different. In this netbook, fn keys used to get function of F1, F2, F3, etc.

I also have HP notebook DV3 2242TX with me. Try usb live and WOW, it is amazing.
Everything detected include volume slider.

After comparing the two types between DV3 and HP mini 210, they have different keyboard layout.
In DV3, to access F1, simply press the key. But in the HP mini 210, to get F1, I have to press FN key + F1.

How can I solve my problem in HP mini 210 1002TU ?
I tried to search this forum fist but still I can not get my answer.

It is generally not possible to change the configuration on the livecd, you usually need to install permanently to change system configurations. Are you sure the netbook doesn't have a fn key lock that is on, or the manufacturer has not made the fn function the default action as appears to be the case on some newer models? If this latter is the case you would need to look in the BIOS or contact the manufactuer.

This is a new model. I bought it 3 months ago.
In that model of netbook, the FN, F1, F2, F3 up to F12 are printed in grey color, which means need FN key pressed first. CMIIW.

Lets say I would like to increase volume.
Since the symbol printed in bright white color, simply just press the key.
But it won't work unless I press the FN key first.

That is what I mean inverted. CMIIW. Sorry if my explanation not so clear.

Currently I am using Ubuntu netbook 10.04.
Those keys work on its duty. Except 4 keys which are inactive.
They are previous track, play/pause, stop,and next track. I looked at keyboard short cut and everything are correct.
That keys not working while playing multimedia apps like VLC.
And I am still looking to solve the problem.
if not solved, I think I will switch to Linux Mint with the condition of inverted FN key function.

As I said you cannot do this without installing the OS permanently as it requires changing system files. Here is a link explaining how, though note this is for an Apple keyboard, I'm not sure of the value you would need for yours.

Try to enable/disable the function-keys in BIOS, like this:
