Hi,
I have Mint 9 x64 on two of my laptops. One is an ASUS and the other Samsung. They are quite different hw wise. What's happening on both is that when the scheduled disk checks are supposed to run the hang on 0%, nothing happens. I have to hit "Esc" and boot happens as normal, but no check has been performed. I have to boot from a live CD to perform the checks which works without problems. Both laptops have the same disk layout: a large /home partition, a tiny /boot partition and a 10 gb / partition, all of them ext4.
Any idea why the scheduled disk checks won't run?
